The New iPad Hit 3 Million Mark in Sales
The new iPad was availed in the stores in selected countries across the world last week on 16th march. Over the past weekend the tablet from Apple has sold over 3 million pieces. This is a record high sale within such a short time. Both the original iPad and iPad 2 took much longer to hit the million mark in sales. This figure does not include pre orders of the device which could be much more.
The iPad 3 has managed to create itself strong market presences that leave the other tablets wondering how to catch up. Since its inception, the iPad has remained dominant in the tablet market just like the iPod in the mobile music players’ category.
